You know you’ve made it in Hollywood when your agent tells you you’re booked for a celebrity boxing match at an Atlantic City casino. Angelina Pivarnick, who is one of the “stars” of Jersey Shore, apparently was so excited last Saturday for her big fight, that she couldn’t wait to get to the ring and instead started a fight with one of her fans at the Taj Mahal Hotel and casino.
Sadly, for the celebrities, fans and those just hanging around waiting to see Pivarnick get smacked around, she was kicked out of the venue for fighting. It was difficult to tell which was more painful to her, the loss of a cheap PR stunt, or the irony of getting her fight canceled for fighting. Our money is on the irony.
The scheduled casino fight, not to be confused with the impromptu surprise casino fight, was supposed to be against fellow reality TV star Kerry Schwartz. If that name doesn’t ring any bells, it’s probably because you have a life. She was the winner of a VH1 show that saw her win the heart of the another reality TV “star,” Frank Maresca. Proving that love is best found on a VH1 reality show, their relationship lasted a full three days after the cameras stopped rolling. Since then her most noteworthy accomplishment was getting hospitalized after bot-flies laid a giant egg sac under the skin of her thigh.
The feud between Schwartz and Pivarnick goes back to October when Pivarnick refereed a celebrity boxing match that Schwartz was in. After the match the two got into a real fight in the bar where the match took place. Clearly these two were destined for a rematch and thankfully the good people at Celebrity Boxing got their crayons out and scribbled down plans for an official rematch in Atlantic City.
Sadly, that rematch never happened since Pivarnick can’t seem to save it for the ring and felt compelled to attack a fan while outside of the club where the fight was to take place.
A source told E! News that the fight occurred when Pivarnick, “went down to the lobby for a moment and there was a girl there who wanted to take her picture with Angelina” The source went on claim that, “It’s not that Angelina caused trouble, it’s that these people want to start with this kid. They watch the show and they want to be on TV. They purposely start sh-t with these kids.”
Pivarnick’s only comment on the matter has been no comment. On Saturday she stated over twitter, “Don’t ask me about the fight. I won’t answer!! Some things got in the way n i couldn’t participate. But it is rescheduled!! Stay tuned.”
