New Video of Spc. Bowe Bergdahl Surfaces

A new video of Idaho soldier Bowe Bergdahl has surfaced from a production house associated with the Taliban. A family spokesman, Col. Tim Marsano, has confirmed to Today's 6 News the new images are of Bergdahl.
Bergdahl was reported captured in June of 2009. This would be the third tape to surface of the soldier since his capture.
There's no way of knowing when this new 45-minute video was taken. Still images in the press show Bergdahl thinner and with what appears to be a cut or bruise on his left cheek. They also show him standing next to a Taliban commander.
According to CNN, audio on the tape includes a speaker who says the Paktia mujahadeen, a Taliban group, captured the soldier. He is in the custody of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and has all Islamic rights.
Today's 6 News is staying on top of this developing story and will continue to bring you the very latest as it becomes available.
